So my blog dies suddenly almost as quickly as I started it, but I did enjoy the time I spent writing and would like to revive this site.
2010 was a crazy difficult year for me in my professional life as my role grew to cover the responsibilities of two other positions following departures. This led to a lot of stress, a lot of hours and a lot of heartache for my family. But positively for all of you, it also led to a lot of lessons learnt and a much stronger understanding of what it takes to manage a team of people.
For those who still have subscriptions to my blog, thanks for your persistence and I have a whole lot of writing to do to make up for the last 12 months. For new readers, welcome and I hope you find my experiences even a little bit useful. Please feel free to provide feedback in the comments section, I promise I’ll try to reply to everyone when I can.
